Patients with limited English proficiency are under-represented in non-industry-sponsored clinical trials relative to industry-sponsored trials

Patients with limited English proficiency (and, more broadly, those with a primary language other than English) are under-represented among consent events in clinical trials that are not sponsored by industry, compared with industry-sponsored trials, even after adjustment for demographic, clinical, and study-type factors.
