Children of LEP parents receive less adequate postoperative pain assessment and opioid analgesia than children of EP parents

Children of parents with limited English proficiency (LEP) receive less adequate postoperative pain care than children of English-proficient parents: they are assessed for pain less often and receive opioid analgesics only at higher levels of recorded pain.
