Patient trust and perceived discrimination track native-language and cultural background more than visit-level language concordance

For LEP patients, ratings of trust and (lower) perceived discrimination are associated with the patient's native-language and cultural background — Spanish-speaking families rate these more favorably than English-speaking families — rather than with visit-level language concordance, which is not a significant predictor of either.
