Description #
The higher rates of complex surgery and higher CDE in LEP patients were not simply explained by their more mature cataracts: both remained significantly higher among LEP patients in multivariable analysis after adjustment for mature cataract (both P < .0001). This suggests an association between LEP status and surgical complexity independent of cataract maturity.
